Kevin is a board-certified professional soil scientist
(CPSSc No. 11076) with 26 years of experience offering environmental consulting services throughout the United States, Canada, Mexico, Asia and Europe.

Kevin earned his bachelor's of science degree in resource conservation with an emphasis in soil science from the University of Montana School of Forestry. He earned his master's degree in land rehabilitation with an emphasis in soil science from Montana State University. Kevin is also currently working part-time to earn his PhD in soil science from Montana State University.

Kevin has held senior-level management positions in the consulting industry and has directed professional staff and contractors on multi-million dollar environmental-management, permitting and remediation projects. His technical strengths lie in soil science, surface-water resources, land reclamation and general environmental problem solving. He has particular expertise in managing water for the oil, gas and mining industries, including NPDES permitting. He’s recognized as an expert in managing the produced water and land reclamation associated with coal-bed natural gas (CBNG) and conventional oil and gas operations in Wyoming, Montana and Colorado. And he’s credited with developing an innovative approach to beneficially using CBNG-produced water to irrigate forage crops. To date, Kevin has conducted more than 100 CBNG-produced water management and permitting projects throughout Wyoming, Montana and Colorado.
